Alaskan Cruise Wordbook
This is an Alaskan Cruise wordbook that I am working on for a friend. Originally, I made the cruise ship using dark blue, red, and white. But, as I looked at the ship and the colors, I decided I wanted cooler colors. I asked for some tips on making the glacier, and received some very good advice. I ended up using felt to create the glacier. I used some blue catseye ink around the edges, and some clear glitter to add some shine.
On the pages to the right of the book, I added a glacier and a place to add photos. On the left hand side of the pages, I just adhered a piece of cardstock. I like leaving some blank areas in the wordbooks when I make them for other people so they can add their own touch to the books.
I had fun working on this. My hubby helped me some, I didn't have a cartridge with a cruise ship so I had to make my own using basic shapes from the cricut, so, I used my hubby's expertise in ships to help me construct this one...I think it turned out pretty cute. Oh, and not to mention I used the peachy keen faces in the windows...
Thank you for taking a looksie!...Deanna

Wordbook-Princess Aubrey
I must say, I am pretty proud of this book. I made it for a co-workers granddaughter. She wanted her name, but also wanted a 'princess' theme. I gave it a bit of thought, and decided that the very last page should be a little taller than the others and that I wanted to create a 'crown'. I did this by welding a star and the scalloped edge off of the platin school book cricut cart. I embossed the start, and I found some Christmas snowflake garland in my stash and thought what a great way to add a little bling to the crown area. I also trimmed the outter edge with a string of beads.
I am also pretty proud of the flowers that I learned to make this week, so I incorporated them into the first page.
Thank you for taking a looksie, and I hope you enjoyed. Please feel free to leave comments and suggestions, all are welcome!

Wordbook-Kathy
This is a wordbook that I created for a co-worker of my mothers. The papers are from KC&Company. I used my sizzix to emboss the letters and added some glimmer mist to add some shine. The flowers are from a stash that I had, and not sure of the brand. The jewels are from my thrift store finds, which came from a slide bracelet. I added a little gold wire around the letters, can't really tell from the picture. I used my cricut to cut the wordbook and .22 chipboard.

Disney Dream Cruise Wordbook
I made this wordbook photo album for a friend of mine who is going on a cruise in a few months. I used MTC for the Mickey Mouse, Cricut for the lettering, and various papers, etc that I have in my stash. I think it turned out cute.

Spring Wordbook Photo Album
This is a really sweet Wordbook photo album that features a different springtime character on each page. The book has a total of seven pages. I created all of the characters using the cricut cartridge, "stretch your imagination".

This is a wordbook photo album that I worked on for a friend of mine. She requested the colors to be black, yellow and white. The decorative papers were from the Bella Boutique collection, the solid color papers were K&Company. Ribbons and other doo-dads added as decoratives.

Cancer Survivor Photo Album
This is a photo album that I completed for a friend, who requested a book for a cancer survivor. All of the pages are some shade of purple. I used MTC for the cutouts and K&Comapny for the papers.
