Mini-Roses

Today has been a very busy day.  My hubby worked in the yard, putting in his garden (his baby as he calls it).  I did some pulling up of weeds, and worked in the house for a bit. 

Now that I was tuckered out, I decided to do some internet searching of how to create paper roses. 
I cannot take credit for the idea behind these roses.  I found the tutorial on http://heartstring-designs.blogspot.com/2010/03/another-rose-tutorial.html and I just had to give it a try!  This was a very easy to follow tutorial.  My roses are not near as beautiful as the ones on her blog, but I think they turned out pretty nicely for my first try.
